A long time in the making

March 29, 2012

Sometimes I make a sculpture that means a lot to me and this is one of those. I was so exited about it that I risked breaking it in order to get this rather poor shot of it. I first thought about this idea ten years ago but never got round to making it until today and now it feels more relevant than ever. Although strongly biographical I feel the sculpture is laced with many references.
