Making a Mould of a Rotund Bull

April 18, 2012

Last night I made a rotund bull just as an experiment before turning in, it was a bit of an extreme bull made with off cuts of clay from my days work. Anyway on looking at it this morning I decided it had some interesting qualities and made a mould of it so that I can produce a few of them. At the moment I am trying to push my ideas as far as I can to extend  my range of thought and open up new possibilities, it’s a gamble but I feel I have to do it. I guess I’ve just got tired of existing in a safe zone because it  suffocates the artist within, the joy to be found in freely experimenting with new ideas is deep. 🙂
