October 23, 2012

Each year I show work at Battersea art fair with The Linda Blackstone Gallery, this year I’m exhibiting 14 equestrian sculptures and I think it’s my best collection yet. Well I’m pretty excited about them, see what you think I’d love any feedback to help me on my journey 🙂

Hold Your Horses

High Harlequin

Cat on a Horse

I like so many things about these sculpture. The two figure are in an unlikely ballet, unlikely because a horse is not usually that nimble or light. There is constantly an element of surprise and lots of little bits of humour. Very playful and yet so beautiful.
My favourites are Hold your horses, Resurrection and Cog Native.
    Best wishes at the Fair.

  2. Thank you so much , I really appreciate your comments 🙂 . The work met with a favourable response from the people who are exhibiting it for me which was great because it’s quite a move forward from my previous exhibits and there is always a bit of doubt when you expose your work to the public. Many Thanks Eoghan
