Hey That’s Pencil Talk

August 1, 2013

There are times when I sit with my sketch books armed only with a pencil and rubber that I feel (dare I say it) “Happy” 😉 (the new word that I’m going to embrace). Drawing feels so exciting at the moment because of its immediacy and connectivity, so these are a few recent drawings featuring the woman and the horse. I’ve mentioned it before but the reason I now do women riders is part tribute to my sisters and mother and also because I feel the “Divine Feminine” is important at this point in history, it’s about healing after a time of global exploitation and greed. Nurture and sensitivity is how I see a way forward out of our current situation of exploitation and destruction.
